Why Three Before Thirty?

You may be asking yourself… “What does ‘Three Before Thirty’ mean?”

Well, I’ll be happy to tell you.

Three Before Thirty means that I had three kids before the age of thirty, along with falling in love with my husband, a successful career, and marriage. But really, the three kids before thirty thing is where I got my inspiration for this URL that you so happen to be visiting.

So, What Do I Write About?

My Children – because they drive me crazy, although I love them dearly.

Autism – because my middle child is on the Spectrum, and even though he is high functioning life tends to throw me a lot of curve balls with his condition.

Stuff I Do – for someone with three kids and a job, I do dabble in quite a bit. CrossFit, Paleo dieting, sewing, crafting, Triathlons… my interests are diverse. I tend to go in many directions.

Health & Fitness – because it is the key to feeling and looking young, and a requirement in order to remain healthy to take care of my Family.

Reviews – I am approached for review opportunities via PR companies promoting products that wish to know what I feel about their specific product. You will find reviews on here that are honest and truthful, regardless if I was paid for my time and effort or not. I will never write a positive review about anything on Three Before Thirty unless I truly like it.

What I Don’t Write About

School Lunch Ideas – I have food blogger friends that are excellent in this area. Want to really know what I pack for my kids for lunch? Check their Sustainable Organic School Lunch service menu!

Marital/Relationship Strife – let’s face it, no matter how perfect a relationship is we all have issues. I’m not about to talk about mine here. Also, please note, he hates it if I ever talk about what makes us tick.

Lovey Dovey Stuff – I’m not a mushy person. Affectionate? Yes. Super romantic? Heck no.

How to Live YOUR Life – we all make choices, and they are all personal. I might tell you how I live my life, but I won’t tell you how to live yours. It’s really none of my business, and if you are looking for such advice perhaps you should check out Dr. Phil’s site.

Enjoy the ride here at Three Before Thirty. I may be random at times, but there is one thing that you can count on- a clear focus on always doing my best.

Eighth Annual Walk Calls Attention to Life-Threatening
    Pregnancy Disorder Affecting Mothers, Babies

WHAT: The 3k Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ – Making Strides, Delivering Hope

The Preeclampsia Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing maternal and infant illness and death due to preeclampsia, a life-threatening disorder of pregnancy, is holding The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ in Orange County. The Promise Walk, a fundraising and awareness-building event typically associated with Mother’s Day weekend, is also being held in approximately 30 other locations across the nation. The funds raised by the event support innovative research, drive patient education, improve healthcare practices and raise crucial public awareness. Tricia Carlton and her family are the 2012 Orange County, Calif. Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ Mission Family, and she will share her sister Kathleen’s story. There will also be a silent auction to raise funds for the Preeclampsia Foundation.

Preeclampsia, sometimes referred to by its older name “toxemia” or pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), is a disorder that occurs during pregnancy and affects both the mother and the unborn baby. It is a rapidly progressive condition characterized by elevated blood pressure and protein in the urine. The cause of preeclampsia is still not fully understood, and the only “cure” for the condition begins with delivery. Approximately 5 to 8 percent of pregnancies are affected by preeclampsia, and it is responsible for approximately 18 percent of all maternal deaths.

i work for a documentary style film and television company, called BERMANBRAUN. we are a legitimate company with 6 shows on the air and a variety of websites, one of which is called, MOM.ME.COM. currently, we are pursing the attachment mom space for either television or digital. please know we are not looking to exploit the issue the way i think time magazine did, rather we are interested in educating the public about the ideology behind attachment parenting. i find your blog articulate and insightful and i’d love to discuss this more with you if you’re interested.

    thanks
